Use alternate mic on android

Hi Zoiper team! 

I am using Zoiper on a One Plus X phone (android)  

When I make calls, people are experiencing difficulties hearing what I say. 

If I try to speak into the alternate (I guess it's a mic for ambient noises) mic on top of the phone, people can hear me just fine. 

Is there a way to change which mic is used in the app, or how do I make it so that people can hear me?

There is no way to tell Zoiper which microphone to use, this is done by the OS itself.
