After today's upgrade to version 5.4.12 my audio-devices have been reset to "Default undefined"

All the audio devices (input device, output device, input speaker, output speaker and ringing device) show "Default undefined" after having been asked to upgrade to the latest version 5.4.12. Any idea how to fix this?
