Same issue...the software recognizes the headset & microphone, but does not send or receive sound...I have existed the Gaming software, and updated the driver...

I am running windows 8...seems that running the older version

8.78.129 seems to work..

What is version 8.79.129 ? Is that a version for the driver ?

We ordered a g35, it should arrive tomorrow. We also have a g933 but it does not pose any problems
