I have the same issue with a Samsung Note 4 running 6.0.1

After the Samsung phone operating system update the phone rebooted and froze. I had ten second every 30 seconds that the phone was frozen to uninstall zoiper. After uninstalling the phone works ok. Very sad because zoiper was very good

This sounds like an issue with the ROM. An application should not be able to cause a reboot even if it wanted to.
