Our Asterisk server is configured with rather complex rule for outside calls (add 0 for in country calls, no international calls possible).

Zoiper for iOS supports Number rewriting feature. You can configure it from the Account configuration. As options it give you the ability to rewrite the prefix of numbers without international prefix and to use a custom one for the numbers that are filled in with their international code.
