iptel.org account registration (error 604)

Hello,

I keep getting error 604 from iptel.org provider, however I am sure I am entering the right details. Has anyone had any luck with iptel accounts? Which configuration did you use?

Any recommendations on alternatives to iptel.org (as a free sip voip provider)?

iptel.org works for me.

My settings:

Account Name: any
Host: iptel.org:5060
Username: my account name
Password: *****
Outbound Proxy: sip.iptel.org

No other special settings done.

Error 604 is returned when the number you dial does not exist. Check the number. In case you experience this issue with all numbers, contact your VoIP provider for more details.
