What are the significance of the ABCD on the Dialpad?

I am new to Zoiper, 

I have been trying to workout if the ABCD buttons on the dialpad are soft programable buttons but for the life of be i cant find a place to program them.

Hello,

No, these aren ot programmable buttons. They are special DTMF buttons.
