Zioper on Android stop working

Question

I have installed ZoiPer on my new android Phone (Huawei P9 Plus)

It used to work fine on my old Nexus 6, however on the P9 the application starts but after a while stops running. After a screen save I open it and it is not running, therefore I am not getting my calls from overseas numbers I have with callcentric. Any clue or Ideas?

Hello, can you please check in the Android settings for any optimizations/blocking options and disable them for Zoiper? For older Huawei devices running Android 4.x there are settings in "Power saving" to protect apps from being closed/optimized in background. For newer Android version such options might be in "Battery" settings. Note that it also uses some CPU optimization features that might limit Internet connectivity.
