I need to use a SIP port other than 5060 to work around a provider problem. But some messages - I noted ACK and BYE - are still sent to 5060. Zoiper 3.9 for Windows.

The Wireshark capture below shows the problem:

Bug or user error?

It turns out that X-Lite does the same thing. I guess Zoiper and X-Lite use the same SIP stack.

Can you share the full packetcapture with us please ? (You can send it to support@zoiper.com if you don't want it shared publicly).

Capture emailed as requested, thanks.

has this been fixed,  as i am recieving the same issue in zoiper5

I'm the original poster. Nothing was fixed as far as I know. I began to suspect that the behavior was actually correct according to the SIP standard since I saw similar behavior outside of Zoiper.
