random behavior of qualety

Question

Hi,

I have a bit of an issue with the audio quality. It behaves random.

My phone is a Samsung S5 neo

I fixed already the ports and did a port forwarding in my rooter.

so if i make a call, the quality is everything from perfect, bad qualityor no audio one or two ways.

if it works it may work for 2-3 calls and then, sometimes within the call, it stops again.

after a few minutes, without any setting change, still sitting on my desk, it works again.

any idea?

Hi,

Which codec are you using? 

Are you using Wi-Fi?

I assume you disabled STUN when having the forward in your router?

Hi,

Open SLES

Codecs thata are activated: GSM, uLAW and aLaw,

STUN: i fixed the port to 3500 and the update to 30

but forwarding or non forwarding with the router, or if i try it at a different wifi does not make a difference.

its particular annoying if it works and then you just hang up and try again it doe not do anything.

Hi,

Also had some hard times with OpenSLES on my phone (not enough horsepower) after switching to External Java Driver it was perfect.

Preferred is a/uLAW depending on your provider and location or G729 when low bandwidth available.

Running Lollipop or Nougat?

Also had FB MSG active which ate my CPU, maybe an app is bugging your CPU?
