Zoiper displayed with white blank spaces in place of text on Ubuntu Linux

Anywhere there are text headings will turn into blank spaces when the mouse cursor passes over it.

We have Zoiper (latest Linux version) running flawlessly on other (identical) computers / monitors: Intel NUC / Linux / AOC monitor.
