Only 2 rings when in background mode

Hi, 

when in full mode I get 6 rings before it goes to voicemail which is correct as I set 6 rings with my voip provider. However when in background mode I only get 2 rings and it stops. How do I get 6 rings also in background mode?

Zoiper 3.14 using TCP server   

iOS 11.2.1
