Previous versions of your software worked with VPN. Version 1.53 does not work with VPN anymore. I travel to China often and sometimes they block VOIP and you need VPN!
Can you try exiting completely Zoiper, connect your VPN and then launch Zoiper, after the VPN connection is established ?
My VPN is connected before I run Zoiper. Previous versions worked with VPN. No VPN, Zoiper connects, with VPN no connection. It is that way in Germany and China, it is not the Chinese Firewall.
