Can I use Zoiper to connect Android to existing DECT "network"

Question

I haven't used Zoiper.

I have an existing DECT installation with several "phones".

Is it likely that I will be able to use Zoiper to connect an Android phone as an additional handset into that network?

NOTES:

1.  I have computers in the network but do not intend to connect through them.

2.  I do not intend (at present) to create an additional link via my SIP infrastructure.

3.  I do not (currently) intend to configure my router for an additional SIP connection.
