Call volume increases to max on incoming calls.

Question

My call volume in Zoiper increases to the max when i get incoming calls. The only thing I could find that I thought might be associated with this is automatic gain control. I disabled that and it still increases to max on incoming calls.  My ears will appreciate any help.
