My provider supports sip simple, but I cannot receive texts.

I can send texts, call and receive calls, but cannot receive texts.  My provider uses sip simple and in my customer portal can see that I am both sending and receiving texts.  The problem is the received text is not registering in zoiper.  Need some guidance to fix.
