Cannot Text Message Google Contacts

0 votes

Hi there - All "imported" Google Contacts have their phone "Presence Account" set as "Do Not Use" - so I cannot send a text message to any of my Google Contacts.  And Google Contacts cannot be edited.

What does the field Settings > Contacts > Google Contact Service 1 > "Use this account for presence" do?  Could this be changed to be the default Presence Account for all Google Contacts?  I have this set for the account I want to use for presence - but the "Presence Account" for each Google Contact is still set as "Do Not Use".

Am I missing something? Or is there another way?

Thank you for your consideration.

Hello,

The chat can be used only for numbers set under "ipPhone" fields.

I suggest that you take a look at our guide here: https://www.zoiper.com/en/support/home/article/209/How_to_use_IM_%28chat%29_and_Presence_with_Zoiper_5
