Mic and Connection Issues

I have 2 main issues with Zoiper.

1. I can't seem to make outgoing calls all the time - it often just shows a circle going round and round. My colleague who has also recently started using Zoiper is having the same problem. 

 

2. When I can make a call I can't be heard by the recipient (I can hear other people but they can't hear me). I know that it is not an issue with my microphone because it works on other apps on my laptop, for example, Microsoft Teams. I have tried to readjust my audio settings and the mic test does seem to register a voice, yet it doesn't work on the call.


Any advice welcome as I can't continue my work at the moment...
