Zoiper & Command Line

0 votes

I am in need of a VOIP client to run on a Centos6 system.  We are selling Freepbx distro systems and I want to add a client to use for paging purposes.  Here are the things I need to overcome.

1.  I need to run a VoiP client from a command line

2.  I need the client to auto answer.

3. An IAX connection is preferred.

4. I need it to be able to use the ALSA Sound card on my systems for the output.

I have found that I can install a client in Gnome but that means that I need Gnome and the Zoiper to start after a power down.  Not Ideal.

Will Zoiper do all this???

Thanks

Hello,

Zoiper 3 requires Pulseaudio. Please try using Zoiper Classic for Linux.
